“homage to marc chagall”

Chagall has been one of my favorite artists for many years. His use of colour and dream like content has enchanted me. Trying to create a mosaic in homage to Chagall was more of a challenge than I had expected; I wanted to capture the innocence and personal content of his work.

This inspired me to create the first auto-biographical mosaic that I have made. The content and techniques I have used have forced me to explore new perimeters as an artist and individual. Therefore this piece reflects a steep learning curve and I am grateful for the opportunity to develop in both areas.
